You will find a database of our Givers on the “Givers” section on the website.  A Seeker can choose a Giver based on the Giver’s profile and express their desire to connect with a Giver. The profile of the website also mentions the Giver’s area of expertise and the timeslots when they are available. On confirmation of the availability, LFF will connect the Giver and Seeker through a moderated video call or telephone call at the convenience of the Giver. If multiple Seekers choose a similar issue and select the same Giver, the Giver may hold a joint session.

A ‘Giver’ is someone who donates his/her time or who has donated money. You could be a college student, a homemaker, a freelancer, a retired person, an entrepreneur, an academic, a company executive, or the CEO of a company. Anyone with a skill and/or experience can be a ‘Giver’. If you have the knowledge or the expertise in a specific field, you will qualify as a Giver. To be a Giver, all you need is a few hours every month to lend an ear to a Seeker. Look Forward Foundation seeks to provide an equal platform to every individual. A ‘Seeker’ is someone coming from an underprivileged background who needs guidance on their next steps in their career or industry; help with preparing for an interview, suggestions on how to carve a roadmap for their career; information about what lies ahead in a given career or industry; learn futuristic skills to overcome disruption in a given industry etc. Illustratively, if a Seeker is interested in joining a sports academy, they would take advice from a ‘Giver’ regarding their next steps. LFF wants to provide Seekers with a varied category of Givers to choose from, in order to ensure that nobody is getting left behind.
